From First-Home Stress to a New Purpose
My partner and I began our journey the way many do—visiting open homes, imagining what life could be like in each space. We were fortunate to meet a real estate agent who introduced us to a mortgage broker. That broker made all the difference. He wasn’t pushy, he was patient. He explained things clearly and guided us through every step. We felt comfortable, informed, and in control.
That experience stuck with me.
It took us more than a year to save enough. And when we found a home that stretched our budget, one quick call to our broker gave us clarity—we knew exactly what we needed to do to make it happen. With his help, we made a confident, educated decision and had support right up to settlement day.
It made me realise: everyone deserves that kind of support.
Gaining Experience to Guide Others
With a background in finance and a love for helping people, I knew I wanted to be that kind of trusted guide for others. So I began building experience—first in property acquisition, where I learned the ins and outs of the Australian market, then inside a bank, where I got hands-on with loan policies and approvals. Eventually, I even worked alongside the very broker who helped me years earlier.
Those years taught me something invaluable: finance isn’t just about numbers—it’s about people. Every client has a story, a dream, and their own unique set of circumstances. And helping them reach their goal takes care, clarity, and commitment.
